Mr. Kemper is a Senior Aerospace Engineering undergraduate at Texas A&M University. He is Team Coordinator for NASA JSC's 2004 Reduced Gravity Student Flight Opportunities Program. He has always had an interest in aviation. It all started at a young age when his father let him hold the controls of their Piper Cherokee, to recently being employed at Easterwood Airport in College Station, Texas. Mr. Kemper plans to follow in his father’s and his brother’s footsteps and become a private pilot after graduation in December of 2004. His goal is to work at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. |

Jonathan Russell is a senior Aerospace Engineering major at Texas A&M Univeristy. His research interests are applications of Electro Active Polymers (EAP) and Shape Memory Alloys (SMA) on biomimetic vehicles. Currently, he is working on the development of a SMA actuated cambering mechanism on a propeller for the U.S. Navy. His other interests include auto mechanics, R/C planes, and woodworking. |

Ms. Varghese is a sophomore, Electrical Engineering major at Texas A&M University. Alongside being a student, she is also a part-time employee for the Space Engineering Institute (SEI), a NASA supported program with TAMU’s College of Engineering. At the SEI, she has been trained in the skill of soldering and has received NASA certification for completion in cable crimping and harnessing. She is also involved with research and testing for NASA’s Mini AERCam project. While growing up in Houston… the “Space City”…outer space was always a captivating subject for Joyce. Upon graduation, she hopes to employ her skills to benefit and propel the space industry to greater heights…especially concerning further space exploration. |

Maria Liberto is a freshman Aerospace Engineering major at Texas A&M University. While growing up around the aviation business, her passion for flying as well as aeronautics has lead her to the career path she has chosen today. Maria has worked on ongoing projects such as helping Airshow pilot Ray Vetsch modify his Suhkoi 26MX with a Walter Turbine engine, and doing research for the installation of vortex generators as well. She currently is a part-time employee for the Space Engineering Institute, where she is involved in NASA's StarNav project and recieves training in soldering, as well as learning more about the field of engineering and its many branches. Maria would like to further her study in space exploration, and eventually work at NASA on a design team for space vehicles. |
